The CBS drama - which recently launched on Sky Atlantic in the UK - is yet to be picked up, but a confident Chiklis told a fan on Twitter that he is not expecting the '60s-set series to be cancelled.

Dennis Quaid and Michael Chiklis in Vegas
"No [it won't be axed]," wrote the actor. "Vegas is a powerful show with a huge audience that will continue to grow over time. Thanks for watching!"
The same fan later criticised CBS's decision to pre-empt Vegas next week (Tuesday, February 26) in favour of new show Golden Boy.
"Yes, we need a run of shows without so many pre-emptions," Chiklis agreed. "[But] CBS is very smart. They have a plan. Vegas is back in 3 weeks."
Vegas - which stars Chiklis as mobster Vincent Savino and Dennis Quaid as his nemesis Ralph Lamb - has been airing on Tuesdays at 10/9c on CBS. In the UK, Sky Atlantic screens the show on Thursdays at 10pm.
