Fox has released a trailer for midseason drama The Following.
The horror thriller will star Kevin Bacon as Ryan Hardy, a retired FBI profiler who returns to active duty.
John Carter actor James Purefoy will also star as Hardy's nemesis, serial killer Joe Carroll.
Devised by Vampire Diaries exec Kevin Williamson, the series was originally known as Mastermind.
Also starring Natalie Zea (Justified), The Following will air on Mondays at midseason, replacing fall drama The Mob Doctor.
