One of Hagman's final jobs was shooting a segment for the Tiffany Network's I Get That A Lot, a show where celebrities pull hidden-camera pranks on unsuspecting bypassers.
I Get That A Lot executive producer Eric Schotz has now disclosed that a prank featuring Hagman as a barbecue sauce salesman in September will air as originally planned.
"Larry was amazing to work with," Schotz said. "I think what people didn't know about Larry Hagman is that he was a prankster at heart.
"He loved the fact that he could interact with his fans, and the fans' reactions when they found out it was him are priceless."
I Get That A Lot - which also features Cheech Marin and Jane Seymour - will air on Wednesday, January 9 at 8/7c on CBS.
Producers of Dallas recently announced that the upcoming season will feature the funeral of JR Ewing, the iconic character originated by Hagman in the late 1970s.
