Sky1 has released a new action-packed video featurette for its comic book series Arrow.
Subtitled 'The Action of Arrow', the film features interviews with stars Stephen Amell and Colin Donnell about the show's numerous action sequences.
Amell insisted on doing a number of his own stunts in the role, and the video demonstrates him involved in some impressively physical action sequences. Amell says of his gung-ho approach: "I remember saying to the producers that I was interested in a role with some physicality.
"I'm still young enough and able-bodied enough that I could really get into it, but I was always bumping up against the producers who are worried about me staying in good health and not getting injured.
"I'm always trying to tell them, 'Guys, I'm not a piece of china! I'm not going to break. You can get me in and do this'."
Arrow made its debut on Sky1 earlier this week. In the US, it has turned into a surprise ratings hit for The CW network, debuting with impressive numbers and remaining strong throughout its run.
Arrow airs Mondays at 8pm on Sky1.
