Seth Gabel has described his Arrow guest stint as "the most fun... ever".

The former Fringe star will play drug kingpin The Count, who floods the streets of Starling City with a deadly narcotic.

"It's the most fun I've ever had," Gabel told TVLine. "[My look is] very street, in a flamboyant, theatrical, grounded way - a lot of black."

Gabel added that his villainous character - based on DC Comics character Count Vertigo - "basically rule[s] the street".

"[Oliver Queen has] got a long way to go up the chain to get to me," he hinted.

Arrow co-creator Andrew Kreisberg recently described Gabel's Arrow performance as "phenomenal".

"The dailies are just blowing us away," he claimed last month.

Arrow continues on Wednesdays at 8/7c on The CW and airs on Mondays at 8pm on Sky1 in the UK.
