MacLachlan to leave 'Housewives'?

The actor - who plays Orson Hodge, the husband of Bree (Marcia Cross), in the hit US TV show - has based the decision on taking a "difficult" commute from New York City to Los Angeles, where the series is filmed, Contact Music reports.
The 49-year-old and his wife Desiree Gruber welcomed a baby boy, Callum, into their family last July, while it is believed that the star is rethinking his commitment to the programme after living away from them for long periods of time during shooting.
He said: "It's getting more difficult going back and forth. I'll do the next series and see how it goes."
MacLachlan also admitted that he plans to have more children, adding: "Callum is an absolute joy. We’re going to try for another so they can fight each other!"
Last month, it was reported that two of the Desperate Housewives cast have been approached to star in their own spinoff series.
