'Desperate Housewives' rises, 'Simpsons' falls in Sunday ratings

Desperate Housewives and Pan Am both climbed in the ratings on Sunday for ABC.

The Teri Hatcher-starring series climbed 7% from last week to a 3.0 18-49 adult demo rating and 9.2 million viewers at 9pm. Pan Am saw a small rise to 1.8 and 5.6m viewers at 10pm.

The majority of Fox's animated lineup saw drops since last week, with The Simpsons falling to 7.5m (3.5) at 8pm and American Dad dropping to 4.8m (2.4) at 9.30pm. Family Guy however levelled 5.9m viewers (3.1).

The Good Wife saw a decent rise to 10.07m viewers (2.0) at 10pm for CBS, while Once Upon a Time continued where it left off last week by scoring an impressive 11.32m (3.8) at 8pm for ABC.

CSI: Miami also saw a climb for CBS at 10pm with 9.8m (2.1). The Amazing Race had earlier brought in 10.5m viewers (2.7) at 8pm for the network.

NBC won the night yet again overall with its sports programming. The Sunday Night Football game between the New England Patriots and the New York jets scored a 7.3 18-49 adult rating. Its total viewership will be announced at a later date.
