Images from the ABC series' last two editions show Susan (Teri Hatcher), Lynette (Felicity Huffman) and Gabby (Eva Longoria) sitting in on Bree's trial and Renee (Vanessa Williams) making a surprise arrival at the courtroom.
In other pictures, Bree is seen looking cosy with her lawyer Tripp (Scott Bakula) next to what appears to be a moving van, while Lynette and Tom (Doug Savant) run hand-in-hand to meet Julie (Andrea Bowen) as she prepares to deliver their grandchild.
The synopsis also sheds light on the events of the Housewives finale, revealing that Bree is pressured into telling Tripp "what really happened the night of Alejandro's murder as it looks like she's about to be convicted". Gabby, meanwhile, "tries to come up with a solution that will take the burden off of Bree".
Elsewhere, Susan tries to keep her move from Wisteria Lane private, the women decide to comfort Mrs McCluskey in her final days and Renee discovers Ben "has been arrested and thrown in jail".
The role of former cast member Dana Delany is also revealed, as the synopsis explains that her character Katherine "returns to Wisteria Lane and offers Lynette an intriguing job opportunity - which could end her chances of reconciling with Tom".
The final two episodes of Desperate Housewives, named 'Give Me the Blame' and 'Finishing the Hat', will air back-to-back Sunday, May 13 at 9/8c on ABC.
