Olivia Munn has officially signed on to join Aaron Sorkin's HBO pilot.

The Daily Show correspondent was first mentioned as a possible candidate for the show in late April. According to Entertainment Weekly, Munn has now officially completed negotiations to star in the Social Network writer's highly-anticipated pilot.

Tentatively titled More As The Story Develops, the project is set in a cable news network. Jeff Daniels will star as the anchor Will McCallister.

Emily Mortimer is in talks to join the pilot as well. The British actress will reportedly play the female lead.

Oscar-nominated actress Marisa Tomei (The Wrestler) was also in talks for Mortimer's role, but negotiations appeared to have fallen through in early May.

Munn recently caused some controversy when she reportedly encouraged a room full of club-goers to engage in one-night stands.

The 30-year-old actress starred on Perfect Couples, an NBC series that was recently cancelled.
