The clip reveals that Aaron Sorkin's new drama for the cable network has officially been titled The Newsroom.
First announced under the title More As This Story Develops, it will star Jeff Daniels, Emily Mortimer, Dev Patel and Olivia Munn.
Jane Fonda was rumoured to be joining the cast last week to play a powerful media mogul.
The video also teases movie Game Change, starring Julianne Moore as former Republican vice-presidential candidate Sarah Palin opposite Ed Harris's John McCain.
Melissa Farman, who played the young Danielle Rousseau in Lost, will portray Palin's oldest daughter Bristol.
Armando Iannucci's political comedy Veep, horse racing drama Luck, new comedy Girls and drama Hemingway and Gellhorn - starring Clive Owen as writer Ernest Hemingway and Nicole Kidman as journalist Martha Gellhorn - feature in the promotional clip.
The return of established series such as Game of Thrones, True Blood and Boardwalk Empire is also teased.
