Brian Austin Green joining 'One Tree Hill'?

Brian Austin Green is reportedly being lined up to appear in One Tree Hill.

The actor, best known for his role in the now axed Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, has been approached to become a regular cast member, says Entertainment Weekly.

If a deal is inked, Green will play Clayton, Nathan Scott's sports agent and close friend, on the show's upcoming seventh season.

Earlier this month, Chad Michael Murray and Hilarie Burton announced their decision to quit The CW's teen drama, while Austin Nichols was promoted to series regular as movie producer Julian Baker.

One Tree Hill executives are also reportedly looking to cast two further regular roles for the characters of Haley's older sister and a model-actress hired by Brooke to front her clothing line.
