Hayley's sister cast in 'One Tree Hill'

Shantel VanSanten has been tapped to join One Tree Hill, says The Hollywood Reporter.

The actress, who will next be seen in horror film The Final Destination, is being lined up to play Hayley's sister.

VanSanten joins recent recruit Robert Buckley, who will appear in the show's seventh season as Clayton, a young sports agent who represents Nathan.

The CW recently announced that One Tree Hill is switching timeslots with Gossip Girl when the two shows return this Fall.
