DC Skelton cast in US 'Life On Mars'

>Jonathan Murphy has been cast as DC Chris Skelton in the US remake of Life On Mars.

Murphy, who played Ronnie in the now-axed October Road, will rejoin Josh Appelbaum, Andrew Nemec and Scott Rosenberg, who created Road and are now running LOM.

The show, in production for ABC, is scheduled to start airing in the autumn.

Sam Tyler is being played by Jason O'Mara, Gene Hunt by Colm Meaney, and Sopranos actor Michael Imperioli has been cast as DS Ray Carling.
