Report: ABC plans 'Grey's Anatomy' spinoff

The paper claimed today that the spinoff drama would be centred on the character Dr. Addison Montgomery-Shepherd, played by Kate Walsh. It added that a two hour pilot, to be written by Grey's creator Shonda Rhimes, could air as early as May.
Grey's Anatomy continues to be one of America's most-watched shows, only coming behind American Idol in the latest weekly ranking according to Nielsen Media Research.
