'Grey's creator wishes Washington 'well'

Grey’s Anatomy creator Shonda Rhimes has insisted that she bears no bitterness towards axed cast member Isaiah Washington.
ABC declined to renew Washington’s contract on the medical drama after he allegedly used a gay slur against his former co-star T.R. Knight at the Golden Globe Awards in January.
However, Washington recently signed to appear in five episodes of NBC’s freshman drama Bionic Woman, which will compete against Rhimes’ Grey’s Anatomy spin-off Private Practice this autumn.
Rhimes said of Washington’s casting: "I don’t have a reaction. He’s a very talented actor. I hope Bionic Woman does well – just not as well as Private Practice."
