Quinn tracks Veronica, Nick and LJ to the cabin in the woods and Kellerman and Hale have a life-threatening difference of opinion.

Full Summary: As the would-be escapees continue to chip away at the floor in the guard’s room, it’s clear that their already volatile alliance has become even less stable since C-Note’s addition to the gang. But before tensions between them can escalate any further, a guard interrupts them with some shock news: Michael’s wife Nika has arrived for their conjugal visit. Bellick watches appreciatively as she is frisked by a female officer, but then looks at her suspiciously, claiming to recognise her from somewhere. And once inside the room, it transpires that all is not as it seems as Nika merely gives Michael a credit card.

Back in his cell, Michael sneaks through the hole behind the sink and makes his way to the room where the inmates’ belongings are stored until they leave the prison. He lets himself in with the credit card – which is revealed to be a security keycard in disguise – and retrieves the small tape recorder he brought with him when he entered Fox River. But the gold watch he was expecting to find is missing. When he spots it on the wrist of a guard who Westmoreland tells him is a notorious thief, he recruits pickpocket Tweener to steal it back for him.

Elsewhere, Veronica, Nick and LJ are still reeling from learning that Vice President Reynolds is behind the conspiracy. Nick is determined to use what they know to stop her becoming the next leader of the free world, but Veronica has had enough of living in fear and just wants to clear Lincoln and go home. However, unbeknownst to them, they are being watched by agent Quinn, who waits until nightfall and claims to be a victim of a car crash to convince them to let him in. As soon as Nick lowers his guard, Quinn shoots him and ties up Veronica and LJ, threatening to kill them all unless they cooperate. Is it finally all over for them?

Meanwhile, news of Michael’s marriage has reached Sara, who is devastated that he never mentioned it despite how close they have become. She warns him that their relationship now has to be purely professional, and when Michael offers to explain, she turns her back on him. Bellick has also been thinking about Nika and has finally realised where he knows her from. Visiting his local strip club, he coerces her into admitting that Michael married her to get her a green card, and that her part of the bargain was to sneak in the credit card. Oblivious to the fact that he has been rumbled, Michael talks to Westmoreland, who has dropped by to deliver the watch that his new cellmate Tweener has managed to snatch. But it’s far from a friendly chat – Westmoreland has just learned that his daughter has terminal cancer and, despite Pope’s best efforts, will not be allowed out to see her before she dies. He wants to join the escape team, and offers them the money they will need on the outside. However, Michael is no longer convinced that he has it. “I seem to recall several conversations that ended with, ‘I am not DB Cooper,’” he reminds him. “I lied,” Westmoreland replies. Even if he is the famous hijacker, can he prove it to Michael’s satisfaction?

Now reunited with everything he needs, Michael wires the watch and radio together and buries them in the yard to work out how long it takes the guards to make their rounds. It’s bad news – they only have 18 minutes to get the bars off the infirmary window and climb over the wall to freedom. “There’s too many people,” Michael confides to Lincoln after realising this won’t be enough time. “One of them has to go.” But which one?
