Note: The light summary of this article provides only gentle teasers as to what happens in this episode, and is suitable for reading before viewing. The full summary serves as a more detailed recap of the episode.
Light Summary: With the escape in motion, Michael, Lincoln and the inmates take flight outside the prison walls, risking life and limb to evade capture. Warden Pope and Captain Bellick embark on a relentless pursuit to capture the escapees; the Vice President fears she will lose her command as well as her life; and Veronica tracks down the most significant piece of evidence to prove Lincoln's innocence.
Full Summary: With the discovery of Warden Pope tied up in his own office, the alarm has been sounded and chaos reigns supreme in Fox River. Bellick has also been found, and is hell-bent on revenge. Outside, the escapees pause for breath in the hopes that the guards will overtake them. But the dogs swiftly give their location away and it’s time to run...
Meanwhile, Veronica is on her way to the Vice President’s Montana hideaway, unaware that the traitorous Nick has encountered some serious complications back home courtesy of a visitor with a gun, and soon finds a very interesting piece of evidence that could prove Lincoln’s innocence.
Elsewhere, the Vice President learns that her funding has been pulled by the Company and her Presidential dreams may well be over. Back in Fox River, Sara is shopped by her nurse, who reveals the extent of the doctor’s relationship with Michael.
On the outside, Bellick and Pope are closing in on the escapees – who are having some fairly serious problems making it to the plane that Abruzzi has supposedly arranged for their getaway. Can the ‘reformed’ mobster be trusted?

I loved this episode! It was really good. The suspense, drama and action involved was brilliant. It was so intense and the cliffhanger was great (I was literally on the edge of my sofa lol!!) I can't wait until next year either!!!! But it was brilliant!!

I thought this episode was great. I was a cliffhanger of an episode because when they got near the aeroplane, they thought that they would reach safety soon, but it flew away.
