Light Summary: Bellick shacks up with Michael, Lincoln and Nika in hopes of discovering Westmorelands hidden $5 million; a family learns the dangers of hitchhiking when they pick up a stranded T-Bag; Abruzzi rejoins the family and is determined to get his revenge on Fibonnoci; Kellerman makes his move on Sarah, who gets a phone call she has been waiting for; and Mahone finally gets his man.
Full Summary: Lincoln, Nika, and Michael cruise down the highway. A car closes on them from behind. It’s Bellick and Geary. They force them off the road into a tree. The trio staggers from the car, and Bellick holds them at gunpoint. Michael thinks Bellick wants the reward money. Bellick shocks them when he tells them that Manche squealed, and they’re going to Utah for the five million. If Michael doesn’t take them to the money, they’ll kill Nika. Lincoln drops a shard of broken glass in front of Bellick’s car’s tire. Mahone recovers Michael’s computer hard-drive, and also learns that it was pig blood at the crash site… which means the brothers are alive. Tweener and Debra Jean are on their way to Utah. He’s overly concerned about her speed, and getting pulled over. Michael tells Nika not to worry, but she’s angry. Ten thousand dollars is not worth dying for. Bellick tries to get a rise out of Lincoln, and it’s all he can do not to lash out at him. Sara and Kellerman are at an AA meeting. When he shares his background with the group, Sara catches him in a medical lie. Later he introduces himself as Lance, and flirts with her. Abruzzi, guarded by his thugs, returns to his restaurant in Brooklyn, and greets his family. He tells his wife the horror is over.
T-Bag pulls the vet’s car over at a gas station. In the restroom he jabs his re-attached hand with a scalpel, hoping to feel anything. A hitchhiker sees him, and questions his actions. T-Bag starts to leave but sees cops inspecting his stolen vehicle. The glass shard has given Bellick’s car a flat tire. Bellick sends Geary back to town for a new tire, and herds the trio to a deserted cabin in the woods. Nika becomes more and more angry with Michael, and doesn’t hide it from Bellick. Once in the cabin she pulls Bellick aside and tells him she wants revenge on Michael. T-Bag tries to sneak away on foot, but is stopped by the police. He tells the cops he’s a hitchhiker, he has no car and the vet’s car belongs to the real hitchhiker in the bathroom. When the cops frisk the kid, they find the vet’s cars keys, planted there by T-Bag. The hitchhiker is arrested, and T-Bag takes off on foot. When Nika takes Bellick into a back room, a tied-up Lincoln tells Michael he doesn’t trust her. Nika tells Bellick she will find out where the money is for a cut… but all he wants from her is sex. She’s not interested. Finally he offers her two hundred thousand for the info. She doesn’t have a choice but to make the deal, and he ties her back up with the brothers. One of Abruzzi’s thugs tells him they’ve located Fibonacci in DC. Abruzzi asks if the information is good, and the thug says it’s from New Jersey so it must be. That’s all Abruzzi needs to hear, and he orders his thugs in the car. His wife slaps him. She can’t believe he will risk his family’s happiness to get revenge. She begs him not to go, and hands him a crucifix. Debra Jean wants to stop for the night, but Tweener wants to keep going. It’s her car so they stop at a motel. Bellick ties up Nika with the guys, and leaves them. Nika informs Michael she’ll have no problem setting a trap for Bellick once Michael tells her where he wants her to lead him.
A man and his teenage daughter from the gas station offer T-Bag a ride. T-Bag climbs in the back seat, and smiles at the man’s young daughter Danny. Nika pretends she has to go to the bathroom, and Bellick takes her. Once they’re alone she tells him that Michael plans to trap him in a small town in Utah where he has friends with guns. For this information she wants a third of the money. Bellick says for that much she has to give him sex on demand. Surprisingly, she starts to kiss him. Everyone has a price. Abruzzi arrives in DC with a carload of triggermen. With all the betrayal he’s been dealt, Lincoln doesn’t trust Nika. Michael says sometimes you have to trust someone. Tweener flirts with Debra Jean, and she responds. Mahone sets up his trap for Abruzzi, and Kellerman gets closer to Sara. At a motel where they’ve stopped for the night, Danny relaxes by the pool. T-Bag comes on to her, and she runs to her father. He comes after T-Bag with an iron; bad idea. While making out with Bellick, Nika grabs for his gun. He drags her back to where the guys are tied up, and secures her there. He reaches for the knife he keeps in his waistband, and curses when he finds it gone. Lincoln is at Bellick’s throat with the knife in a flash. When Geary returns with a tire, Michael points Bellick’s gun on him. Bellick tells Nika how Michael used Sara. She ended up overdosing, and now is facing thirty years in prison. That touches a nerve in Michael, who kicks Bellick in the head. Danny watches T-Bag drive away in her father’s car.
While flirting with Kellerman, Sara’s phone rings. It’s Michael. He tells her he’s sorry and that he has a way to protect her with something already in her possession. Before he hangs up he tells her what they had was real. Mahone and his team race toward a motel. Tweener steps out of the shower to find Debra Jean leaving for some liquor. Tweener is nervous, but doesn’t stop her. Abruzzi arrives at the motel where Fibonacci is hiding. He goes into an empty room as Mahone’s men surround the place. Mahone tells him it was a set up. He got to the guy who tipped the information. Abruzzi tells the Lord he’s sorry, and comes out with his gun raised. The agents open fire, and Abruzzi goes down in a hail of bullets. While Debra Jean and Tweener drink tequila in bed, she confesses she called her father and told him where she was and with whom… and that she likes the guy. Tweener kisses her. Nika and the guys prepare to part ways. Once she realises she’ll never see Michael again, she grabs Lincoln’s gun and points it at Michael. She loved him and he used her; now she’ll have her revenge. She’ll turn them in to the police for the reward money. Michael walks toward her. She threatens to shoot but he knows she can’t: he removed the clip from the gun. Michael wishes her luck, and they drive away. Wheeler tells Mahone that the agency isn’t happy with the way he handled Abruzzi. Mahone could care less. He’s sure Michael will soon make a mistake. As he looks at Michael’s mug shot, he imagines he sees the face of Shales: the one who got away.
