Light Summary: Lincoln is determined to reunite with LJ, who is suspicious of his good fortune in Arizona; Michael, C-Note, Sucre and T-Bag's hunt for buried treasure finally pays off; Kellerman has a change of heart just as Sarah is targeted by The Company; and Mahone forces Tweener to make a deadly choice.
Full Summary: As T-Bag and Michael hold Jeanette hostage, a policewoman enters the house. She turns out to be Jeanette’s daughter, Ann. Noticing the broken glass on the rug, she heads upstairs with her gun drawn. Jeanette manages to give a strangled cry even though T-Bag has gagged her with his reattached arm. Ann bursts into the room. Michael tries to defuse the situation, but it’s not working. Sucre comes up behind her, and gets an elbow in the face. She meets her match when Lincoln subdues her. Kellerman invites Sara over to try his cookie recipe. She gives him a weak excuse, and leaves the store. Jeanette and Ann are tied up. Michael apologises to the women, tells them no one will be hurt, and assigns Sucre to guard them. Kellerman reports to Kim, saying Sara is suspicious of him. Kim informs him that the Governor told her who he was, which means Kellerman’s back to square one. Kellerman reminds Kim that he still has LJ to draw Lincoln out.
Sara is disturbed to learn that her father’s VP nomination was withdrawn, even though they had enough votes for a confirmation; that never happens. While C-Note and T-Bag bicker at one another, Lincoln wonders what's taking Tweener so long to gas up the car. Tweener’s being interrogated by Mahone, but he refuses to talk. Mahone tells him confession is good for the soul. Then Mahone confesses about his failed chase with Shales, saying it was almost like a game except that the bodies kept stacking up. He describes his mental breakdown, and shows Tweener his pills. LJ is informed he has a meeting with his lawyer. He’s suspicious when the ADA hands over his release papers. The charges against him are being dropped. Sara arrives at the Governor's mansion, and finds her father hanging dead in his study. She gets him down, knocking a key loose from his jacket in the process. She calls for help, and begins CPR… to no avail.
Ann gets Sucre to remove her gag. She says she’s pregnant, and needs her pills to prevent a miscarriage. He gives them to her. As the others dig, they hear the breaking news of LJ's imminent release. Lincoln marches into the house, demanding Jeanette’s car keys. Michael pleads with him for a little more time, but Lincoln is adamant: “LJ's out there. I'm gonna get him." Mahone gets an update on Haywire's escapades in Wisconsin. Haywire steals supplies from a store, and the store-owner’s dog follows him out. Michael and Lincoln say their goodbyes. Michael reminds Lincoln to meet up with him at "Bolshoi Booze" on Thursday at six o'clock. As Lincoln drives away, you can see the devastation on Michael's face. Sara is told the medical examiner found no signs of foul play. She says her father was not suicidal, and asks for a moment. She spots the key on the floor, and pockets it.
Mahone promises Tweener a transfer to a white-collar prison, and no additional time tacked on for the escape. Tweener says that if the police approach the house, T-Bag will have no qualms about killing hostages. He promises to take them to the house. Ann continues to wear down Sucre, especially when she learns he's going to be a father. They're interrupted when he overhears on her radio that Tweener’s in custody. Sucre races into the garage with the news just as C-Note excitedly tells everyone he's found the money. Haywire decides to build a raft so he and his new dog can sail on Lake Michigan to Holland. The guys discuss how they are going to spend the money… until they hear a car pull up. While Mahone and his forces surround a house, Tweener walks up and rings the bell, and Debra Jean answers. He tells her his real name, apologises again, and promises to write her from prison. As a frustrated Mahone has him hauled away, the two lovers share a sweet smile.
Jeanette’s date pulls up to take her to the country club. Michael convinces him she’s already gone there, and he leaves. Mahone drives Tweener to a deserted spot to stretch his legs. Kim's not happy that LJ's been released, but Kellerman explains it’s a trap for Lincoln. Then Kim drops the bomb that the governor is dead, and his daughter is next. Kellerman is stunned. Sara finds another origami bird in her mail, but she’s too distressed to care. She notices some drug paraphernalia laid out on her coffee table. The shadow of a man moves in the bedroom. Ann tells Sucre it's only a matter of time until the cops catch up with him. If he turns himself in, he could at least watch his child grow up. Michael hollers from the garage that it's time to go. Sucre walks in, gun in hand: "No one's going anywhere." Mahone confesses to Tweener that he put a bullet in Shales’ brain at point-blank range. Then he levels his gun at Tweener, and kills him. Mahone places another gun in Tweener's hands, and pops more of his pills.
