S04E11: 'Quiet Riot'

It was as if all the creative resources had been pooled into making the elaborate set in which Scylla was contained. After a slow, subdued build-up for the first half hour, one would reasonably expect a storm after the calm. Yet it simply descended into a ridiculously overlong, uninspired sequence of Scofield's gang undertaking a spot of DIY in their bid to retrieve Scylla.
Watching construction workers on a building site all day would be more entertaining than this and at least there'd be a spot of coarse language to liven proceedings up every now and again. The direction and editing of the latter stages were woeful too, and failed to inject any sort of pace and tension into the plodding narrative.
On the plus side, at least The General's relationship with Lisa was fairly intriguing, as she appeared rather assertive in his presence. It seems that The General loves a bit of Girl Power. It's just a shame that the episode was so distinctly lacking in spice.
