S04E11: 'Quiet Riot'
Prison Break's fourth season has contained a string of great episodes of late, but this poorly scripted and shoddily directed instalment sees the show's momentum grind to a halt. Not even the sight of saucy Gretchen in a provocative schoolgirl outfit could save it.

It was as if all the creative resources had been pooled into making the elaborate set in which Scylla was contained. After a slow, subdued build-up for the first half hour, one would reasonably expect a storm after the calm. Yet it simply descended into a ridiculously overlong, uninspired sequence of Scofield's gang undertaking a spot of DIY in their bid to retrieve Scylla.

Watching construction workers on a building site all day would be more entertaining than this and at least there'd be a spot of coarse language to liven proceedings up every now and again. The direction and editing of the latter stages were woeful too, and failed to inject any sort of pace and tension into the plodding narrative.

On the plus side, at least The General's relationship with Lisa was fairly intriguing, as she appeared rather assertive in his presence. It seems that The General loves a bit of Girl Power. It's just a shame that the episode was so distinctly lacking in spice.

I also totally disagree with this review. I personally feel that this was a very exciting episode, it left you expecting something to happen, because you know them doing these tasks ain't gonna go the way they want it too. Definately looking forward to next weeks!

This reviewer doesn't know what he's talking about! This was a fantastic episode. The whole 'silent' part made it for me. 10 minutes of me, my mate, my sister, her bf and my other sister all sat in the living room absolutely dead silent with all faces transfixed on the screen. There was also a collective "AARGH!" when the credits rolled. A great episode and probably one of the best, if not THE best this season. I gave it 10/10. I can't bloody wait for Tuesday 25th now!

I do not agree with this review, in my opinion the long work sequences were excellent, i jumped a mile when sucre screwed up! the only bad point of the episode was the end, the gang go that far and get caught when Michael touches Scylla, i mean really after figuring out ways to get to Scylla surely you would realise jus touching it would not be a good idea.
