'Prison Break' S04E14: 'Just Business'
Juicy plot twists, fast pacing and T-Bag’s ambiguity ensure that the latest Prison Break episode is a fun and exciting treat for viewers.

After an action-packed beginning, the possible redemption of Senor Bagwell provides the crux of the compelling drama that ensues. Could the guise of Cole Pfeiffer really have shown the murderous paedophile the light? His decision to allow Gretchen’s sister and daughter to go free is certainly an eye opener, as is his approach to the Bible basher. Yet in true Prison Break style, the sting in the tail is delivered with great impact, as the religious salesman reveals his true Company guise and T-Bag suffers for his newfound compassion.

Scofield’s ailment and capture by The Company ramps up the intrigue, culminating in the surprise appearance of a submissive Lincoln Burrows at their headquarters to check on his brother’s wellbeing. It must be the first time in ages that the character has done something other than grunt, cuss or commit violence.

The episode’s impressive editing allows us to weave seamlessly through the various subplots, with regular shots of Gretchen’s cleavage helping to keep pulses racing. But it’s the brain candy that works best in the episode. Just how long will T-Bag stay morally reformed for?
