S03E05: 'Interference'
After a decidedly mixed opening to the third season, the mounting tension has really kicked in during the fifth episode. Perhaps the slaying of Sara Tancredi – relegated to a tedious subplot due to behind the scenes issues on the show – has eased a burden and allowed us to get stuck into the real meat of the plot.

There's a certainly an air of nervous anticipation as Schofield's plan to break out of Sona draws closer. The surveillance of the guards' habits and the acute precision needed is well conveyed throughout the episode, with Schofield, Mahone and Whistler forming an alliance that threatens to come undone at any moment. On the subject of the previously bland Whistler, the arrival of a new inmate into Sona who recognised him has certainly given him a more intriguing character. There's bound to be some shock revelations just around the corner. This is Prison Break after all.
