'Battlestar' boss keen on quick resumption

"I wish we could bring you the next episode right away," she told TV Squad. "In my mind the two fit together so closely so as to almost be a two-parter, and I have that awful sense of having had a phone call cut off mid-sentence with so much left unsaid."
Currently, the remaining 10 episodes of the fourth and final season are due to be aired in early 2009, with the hiatus caused by the writers' strike.
Espenson, who previously wrote many episodes of Buffy, also praised the emotional impact of the finale, saying: "Every time I watch this episode I well up with hope.
"I do not easily tear up, but the race to the planet... and then the reveal brings tears to my eyes in a way I'm not sure I've experienced before during a television show."
