Helfer reveals 'Galactica' hair hell

Battlestar Galactica actress Tricia Helfer has revealed that her hair started falling out after constantly bleaching it white-blonde for her role as Number Six.

Speaking to TV Squad, Helfer said: "When we started the second season, every episode my hair gets thinner and thinner and thinner, and shorter and shorter and shorter - and then finally it started falling out in chunks and they had to give me a wig."

Since filming concluded on Battlestar Galactica's final episode, Helfer has secured a guest role in the second season of espionage comedy Burn Notice for a seven-episode stint.
