Moore explains "scary" 'Caprica' challenge
Published Sunday, Jan 25 2009, 02:48 GMT | By Ben Rawson-Jones

"It's scary to have to get one of these things off the ground and hope that it's all going to work out and that people will like it," Moore told Sci Fi Wire. "Especially when you know that everyone is going to compare it to Battlestar. But that's kind of the reason why we're in the business, is to take on those challenges."
Caprica, which is currently filming, "will be about how the people on the colonies developed the Cylons," he stated, adding that it has "its own story to tell about how that came about".
Moore added that he hopes that the project will find "a way of capturing the energy" of the first season of its parent show Battlestar Galactica, which is currently in the latter half of its final season.
