The fleet are under heavy Cylon attack and new Cylon Anders comes face to face with a Raider, who seems to detect that he is one of their own. The enemy fleet immediately withdraws despite its tactical advantage.
Baltar is worshipped by a predominantly female cult which has built a shrine in his honour. He soon has intercourse with one of their number and proclaims that there is only one God. He also prays for the wellbeing of a sick child - who promptly recovers against all expectations.
Starbuck tells everyone that she has been gone for a matter of hours and discovered Earth, but is given a sceptical reception and placed under observation after she is told that she has been missing for months. Her Viper is also brand new. She pleads with Adama to change the course of the fleet towards the coordinates at which she claims to have found Earth.
Baltar is attacked by a man who holds him responsible for the death of his son on New Caprica. He is rescued by his new lover, who saves him from having his throat slashed.
Starbuck starts to wonder whether she is a Cylon, although Anders tells her that he would still love her. As the fleet jumps further away from her Earth coordinates, she feels more pain and breaks free from her guards to confront President Roslin and demand a change of course - at gunpoint.
