The quarters of Baltar's sect are vandalised by masked men, who are unable to find the leader. Baltar later leads his followers into a rival religion's ceremony and denounces their gods and a riot looks a possibility. However, Galactica security arrest Baltar and throw him in the Brig. He is later visited and released by President Roslin, who tells him that she is now wearing a wig due to her ongoing cancer treatment.
Tigh visits Number Six in the Brig several times and experiences hallucinations of his deceased wife Ellen. He eventually orders the surveillance cameras to be turned off and security personnel to leave. Six takes off his eye patch and the pair discuss pain, before Six violently attacks him – at his own request. The pair soon share a tender kiss.
Tyrol makes a crucial engineering error on a Raptor that almost results in the death of Racetrack during an emergency crash landing aboard Galactica. Tyrol later becomes abusive towards Admiral Adama in a bar and belittles Cally. After his warnings are ignored, Adama demotes Tyrol.
Baltar is beaten by a guard in front of his followers when he attempts to return to the sect's quarters, with the imaginary Six repeatedly pushing him forward. Lee Adama arrives on the scene and orders the guard to stand down following the Quorum's decision to overturn Roslin's earlier ruling. Baltar then makes an impassioned speech to his devotees.
