12.4 million tune in for 'FlashForward'

The much-buzzed about drama, which stars Joseph Fiennes, Sonya Walger and John Cho, premiered to 12.41m during the 8pm hour. It beat Fox's Bones, which pulled in 8.8m, and the latest episode of Vampire Diaries, which had 3.81m for The CW.
Over on NBC, 4.66m watched Saturday Night Live: Weekend Update at 8pm, then Parks & Recreation drew 4.22m. Survivor: Samoa logged 11.87m for CBS across the hour.
The sixth season premiere of Grey's Anatomy averaged a strong 16.79m between 9pm and 11pm, beating CSI's return to CBS, which interested 15.72m at 9pm.
Also during the 9pm hour, Fringe pulled in 5.85m for Fox, and 2.62m tuned in for Supernatural on The CW. The Office and Community grabbed 7.33m and 5.36m for NBC at 9pm and 9.30pm respectively.
The Mentalist, which returned last night for its second season, logged an impressive 14.33m for CBS at 10pm, while NBC's The Jay Leno Show was seen by 4.99m.
