The 8pm episode, titled 'The Gift', marked a new low for the series. Last week's instalment - the previous low point - drew 8.96m.
Grey's Anatomy and Private Practice followed at 9pm and 10pm, putting in 13.62m and 9.18m respectively.
The CW's Vampire Diaries managed 4.21m at 8pm, then 2.71m tuned in for Supernatural at 9pm.
Over on CBS, Survivor: Samoa logged 12.71m at 8pm, then CSI followed at 9pm with 15.14m. The 10pm screening of The Mentalist drew 15.37m.
NBC's Community and Parks And Recreation had 5.64m and 4.94m during the 8pm hour, then 7.94m tuned in for The Office at 9pm. 30 Rock followed at 9.30pm, drawing 5.94m, and The Jay Leno Show interested 4.72m during the 10pm hour.
Bones and Fringe put in 8.46m and 4.95m for Fox at 8pm and 9pm respectively.
