According to Zap2It, the network has confirmed that Callis will play a large part in the final episodes of the first season.
The 38-year-old is to portray a "really exciting, unusual character" who has a relationship to Olivia (Sonya Walger), said executive producer Jessica Borsiczky.
Crossing Jordan star Ravi Kapoor has also landed a guest spot on the series.
FlashForward returns on March 18 to ABC.
