Ryan Murphy has revealed that the original members of the Glee cast will graduate high school at the end of the third season.

The Glee creator spoke to Ryan Seacrest in a radio interview on Friday, confirming that he intends to stick to his plan of refreshing the cast of Glee at the end of the 2012 season.

"This next [season] will be their senior year, and then that [they] will graduate," Murphy said. "We didn't want to have a show where they were in high school for eight years. We really wanted to be true to that experience."

Original cast members that may leave at the end of the coming season include Rachel (Lea Michele), Finn (Cory Monteith), Quinn (Dianna Agron) and Puck (Mark Salling).

The cast of Glee is currently on tour and will be heading to the UK this week.

Glee guest star Gwyneth Paltrow recently made a surprise appearance on stage as part of the tour to perform her cover of 'Forget You'.

In the same interview with Seacrest, Murphy announced that he is engaged to his longtime partner.
