Laurie lands 'House' pay rise

Laurie will now earn $400,000 (£225,000) per episode of the drama, giving him an annual sum of more than $9 million.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the former Jeeves And Wooster actor now ranks alongside Kiefer Sutherland and William Petersen in TV's highest-earners.
Earlier this year, Laurie told The Sunday Times that he originally expected the programme to fail.
