Fox has confirmed that both House and Bones have been renewed for the 2007-08 television season.
House, which stars Hugh Laurie as the cantankerous title character, earned its fourth season pickup by being the top-rated drama on Fox and by being one of the best-performing dramas on broadcast TV in key demographics including adults 18-49 and adults 18-34. It airs on Five and Hallmark in the UK.
Bones stars Emily Deschanel and David Boreanaz as forensic anthropologist Dr. Temperance Brennan and FBI Special Agent Seeley Booth respectively. It generally performs strongly in terms of total viewers and in the adults 18-49 demographic. The 2007-08 season will be the third for the series. It airs in the UK on Sky One.
