The rapper, who name-checks the HBO show on new single 'Gangsta Luv', said that he is "down" with the programme.
"I love that show. I wish I could be on it. I'd be a hell of a vampire, don't you think?" he told MTV.
"So what's happenin'? True Blood, get at me - Snoop Dogg wants to be a vampire."
'Gangsta Luv' is the first track to be taken from Snoop Dogg's forthcoming album Malice n Wonderland, due for release in December.
