'True Blood' star cast in 'Generation Y'

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the 29-year-old actor, who played Benedict 'Eggs' Talley on the HBO series, will play a jock in the documentary-style dramedy.
The plot revolves around a group of former high school students, tracking their paths over the past ten years and the events that have led them to where they are in the present day.
Brooks's character is a lieutenant in Afghanistan who is trying to get back home to his wife, who is expecting their first child. He will be joined in the project by Jaime King, who has been cast as a beauty queen who is now an unhappily married failed actress.
Brooks currently stars on ABC's The Deep End.
