'True Blood' star defects to 'Good Wife'?

According to Entertainment Weekly, the actress departed the role of waitress Arlene to appear as Elsbeth Mann, a member of Peter's (Chris Noth) legal team.
The move has insiders speculating over the fate of Preston's True Blood character given that The Good Wife shoots in New York and the HBO drama films in Los Angeles.
"Arlene isn't a major presence in the third book," said a source.
"A lot of the action takes place outside of Bon Temps, so [Carrie] probably had some free time on her hands."
