The actor, who plays Bill Compton on the HBO series, said that he and the cast were "giggling a lot" when he stepped behind the camera for the July 29 episode 'Somebody That I Used to Know'.

"It was a lot of fun to sit down with each actor, explain what I was trying to do and find the best way to achieve it together," he told TV Guide.
"We were giggling a lot. There was a lot of, 'God, this director's a nightmare'."
On what to expect from his True Blood episode, Moyer stated: "Everything you can have on our show, I had in spades. Everybody is going through monumental stuff this season."
Moyer previously confessed to being "terrified" of how his co-stars would react to him as a director.
True Blood continues Sundays at 9pm on HBO. It airs in the UK on FX.
