The HBO vampire drama has announced the addition of Jurnee Smollett (Friday Night Lights) and Amelia Rose Blaire (90210), Deadline reports.

Smollett is slated to play the role of Nicole Wright, a character whose main focus is the common good for all.
Blaire has been cast as Willa Burrell, the daughter of Louisiana Governor Truman Burrell.
Smollett will join True Blood as a series regular, and Blaire could possibly join the cast as a regular if her recurring role is a success.
Terminator 2 actor Robert Patrick recently joined the True Blood cast as a series regular following his season five guest arc.
True Blood will return for its sixth season this coming summer on HBO.
