'Supernatural' ep to mock Pattinson

Details have been revealed of a forthcoming episode of Supernatural that will spoof the Twilight films.

It was previously reported that the sixth episode of the new season will poke fun at the vampire franchise.

Spoiler TV reports that the instalment will feature a vampire named Robert, intended as a parody of Twilight star Robert Pattinson.

A character named Boris, described as a "large and frightening" vampire, will also feature.

Jensen Ackles - who plays Dean Winchester on the show - previously joked that Twilight fans are "crazy" and "have [no] self-respect".

Supernatural returns to The CW on September 24.
