Full Summary: Lake Manitoc, Wisconsin: Sophie Carlton goes for a swim in the local lake but doesn't return home. Who or what is responsible for her death?

Still on the road, Sam and Dean scour the local newspapers for strange deaths and they stumble upon the announcement of Sophie's death. Sam decides it's time to bite the bullet and confront Dean about the trail for their father going stale…

At the Carlton residence, the brothers talk with the family to attain a picture of what actually happened. When they attain no information from Sophie's brother or father, the pair head to the local police station. What will they learn?

In the motel, Sam researches the past 35 years of Lake Manitoc and uncovers an endless number of missing body cases. They realise that they had an eye witness right under their noses…

Dean talks to Lucas again. Will his efforts be rewarded for a second time? Where will the latest depiction lead?

With a new piece to add to the jigsaw, will Sam and Dean be able to get Billy Carlton to talk to them before it's too late?

After their false identities are rumbled, Sam and Dean are forced to head out of town. Their instincts get the better of them and they turn around and head back just as another incident occurs…

As the final few fragments of the puzzle are fitted into place, Lucas points Sam and Dean in the direction of the back garden. What will they find as they, quite literally, dig up the past?

A commotion in the lake sees an end to yet another person. Will the spirit finally rest in peace? More importantly, will Sam and Dean ever find their father?
