Light Summary: Sam and Dean investigate an abandoned sanitarium and discover that when the hospital was open, the patients held a revolt against the cruel and unusual punishments inflicted by the head doctor. While the brothers search the premises for four lost college students, the tortured spirits cause them to go insane, turning Dean against Sam.














































Full Summary: Roosevelt Asylum, Rockford, Illinois: Two policemen investigate a break in at the asylum. Rumour has it that it is haunted with the ghosts of the patients – spend a night there and they'll drive you crazy. One of the police officers, Walt, however, falls foul of the evil spirits, with disastrous consequences for himself and one person close to him…

Stuck in another hotel, Sam and Dean continue their never-ending search for their father – still not knowing they were previously in striking distance of him. A text message bearing co-ordinates lands in Dean's inbox pointing them to Rockford, Illinois…

Dean tracks down Walt the policeman's on-the-beat partner, Daniel. Sam, however, takes the helm in eliciting information out of him. Next stop, the Roosevelt Asylum.

As they inspect the premises, Sam decides to confront Dean about the fact that their father isn't actually there as he thought. Adamant they're there for a reason, Dean presses on with the search for abnormalities.

Sam endeavours to gain some more information about Dr. Sanford Ellicott, one of the doctors who worked in the south wing of the asylum. There's only one way for him to learn more: visit the doctor's son – Dr. James Ellicott… How much information will he get out of the doctor? More importantly, how much information will Dr. James get out of Sam?

With the information they need about the asylum under their belts, Sam and Dean decide it's about time to check out the asylum after night fall – but not before another pair do… Who or what else resides in the mysterious building? Who will get out alive?

The brothers soon discover that the spirits in the asylum aren't all they're cracked up to be. What are they trying to tell the human intruders? Room 137 seems to be the place which should hold all the answers.

One of the siblings heads down to the basement in pursuance of his brother. What or who will he find down there? Will he tell his brother of his discovery? Will the pair succeed in their mission to burn Dr. Ellicott's bones?
