Light Summary: While investigating a mysterious death in Chicago, Sam and Dean run into Meg, who is thrilled to see Sam again. The brothers soon discover Meg is behind the murders and attempt to catch her. Unfortunately, Meg is one step ahead of them and unleashes shadow spirits on the brothers to ambush them. Sam and Dean realise the trap isn't for them, but for their father.













































Full Summary: Chicago, Illinois: A young woman, Meredith, makes her way home, only to be followed by a shadowy creature. She makes it back to her home where it looks like she's lost whatever it was following her. Her feeling of safety is short-lived when the shadowy figure makes its way into her apartment…

One week later: Sam and Dean get wind of the murder – the second in the space of a week. They arrive at the scene of the killing dressed as alarm technicians. Meredith's neighbour gives the boys a lowdown on what she saw when she found the body. Everything was in perfect condition except Meredith…

As the brothers investigate the house, Sam deduces it must be a spirit which killed Meredith, while Dean works wonders with some masking tape…

Sam decides to look into the previous victim's history. Nothing seems to connect the two – they lived in practically different worlds.

Sam is then distracted by a familiar face he spots in the bar – a face which sets his brain into over-time.

The younger sibling follows Meg into a warehouse on the outskirts of the city. When he finally reaches the top of the lift shaft, he witnesses more than he bargained for…

Back in their apartment, Sam explains what he's just seen while Dean has some information on the two killings – something they missed the first time around; both victims are connected, both victims were born in their home town: Lawrence, Kansas. It's time to call their father. They arm up ready for their 'big night' and Sam hammers home reality to his big brother.

In the warehouse, the brothers prepare themselves to get rid of Meg but things don't go quite to plan as Meg unleashes the shadowy spirits on them leaving them tied up and their fate left at the hands of Meg.

In a surprising turn of events, it's not the siblings who fall victim to the shadowy spirits…

Sam and Dean return to their apartment and are shocked by who's standing before them.

The three of them are soon caught by the shadow demons again. Will they overpower the demons or will the demons overpower them? It's only at crisis point that Dean realises what must be done as Sam struggles to accept the bitter truth.
