Light Summary: Sam and Dean investigate a house haunted by the ghost of Mordecai, a man who killed his six daughters during the 1930s. The brothers discover a website dedicated to the Mordecai legend and realise the town is unknowingly conjuring up the evil spirit through the site.














































Full Summary: Richardson, Texas, Two Months Ago: A four-member strong group of friends head out into the country to an old farm house. They rubbish the prospect of an evil spirit who strings girls up by their neck until they head down into the cellar and find one of his victims.

Interstate 35, Present Day: Sam and Dean are on the road heading in the direction of Richardson, Texas. They've heard about the girl that was found in the deserted farm house a couple of months ago. Luckily for Dean, Sam's been surfing the 'net for some local paranormal-related websites.

The boys head to the local diner where they find three of the teenagers who found the body. They provide no help at all – hopefully the fourth friend, Craig, who works in the local record store will point them in the right direction.

Armed with the history of the ghost of Mordecai, the brothers head out to the farm house in question where they come across a batch of symbols on the walls of the building. Where has Dean seen one of the symbols before?

Sam makes some more enquiries into the Mordecai myth and discovers that Mordecai had two kids – both boys. Dean, meanwhile, finds no trace of the dead female that the teenagers found…

That same night, out at Mordecai's old farm house, another young female enters the cellar – this one doesn't come out alive.

The brothers realise they must have missed something. They head back into the house that night to further their investigations. They come across the spirit in question – and it repels the rock salt. How will the boys deal with the evil force?

Dean finally realises where the symbol that's been bugging him originated from while Sam logs on to the local website, hellhoundslair.com, and reads the latest post…

Back to the record store they go for more information on the haunted house. Craig has some more information for Sam and Dean which explains quite a few things. Now all they need to do is figure out how to stop even more people from being killed.

Since the website is what's bringing the legend to life, Dean has an idea by which they can use the website to the myth's detriment. If they wait long enough, the legend will change and they can finally destroy it.

Will the legend be destroyed or will it continue to live for as long as people believe in it?
