S04E11: 'Family Remains'

The Winchesters head to Nebraska to investigate the murder of a man who appears to have been hacked to death from inside a locked house.

Sam and Dean soon determine that they must be dealing with a disgruntled ghost, but their investigation is complicated by the arrival of another family who have decided to move into the horror house.

Ignoring the brothers' warnings to stay away, the new homeowners are rocked by a series of encounters with a mysterious young girl who lives in the walls and has a vendetta against adults.

Soon, a shocking event forces them to put their faith in the Winchesters and together they learn that the murdered man is hiding a dark family secret, suggesting that the young ghost is not who she seems.

Elsewhere, Sam thinks Dean is overworking himself in a bid to black out his memories from Hell, and is stunned when his brother drops another unexpected bombshell about his experience downstairs.
