S04E15: 'Death Takes A Holiday'

The Winchesters arrive in Wyoming to unravel the mystery of a man who was shot in the heart but survived without a scratch.

They soon learn that no-one in the town has died for a week-and-a-half, leading them to suspect that a demon has kidnapped the local grim reaper with the intention of breaking one of the 66 seals. The problem? Reapers are only visible to people who are dead or dying.

Running out of options, they enlist the help of an old friend in order to become ghosts and track down the last person to die in the village - a ten-year-old boy who they believe might know what happened to the reaper.

With tensions still brewing from last week's home truths, matters are further complicated when Dean encounters an unwanted blast from the past, prompting him to revisit one of the darker periods in his life.

Elsewhere, an unlikely source urges Sam to face up to his demon-fighting activities and Castiel has some unwelcome news for Dean.
