S04E22: 'Lucifer Rising'

Following last week's epic falling out, the brothers are still not speaking as Sam goes in search of Lillith's right hand woman with Ruby.

At the same time, Dean is called by Zachariah to fulfil his promise to the angels, but is suspicious when they remain cagey about his ultimate role in proceedings.

Even more bad news is to come when Zachariah confides that all but one seal has been broken and only one person is able to finish the job, while Dean is horrified to finally learn what will happen if Lillith succeeds in her mission.

Elsewhere, a familiar face from the past gets an unwelcome look-in as more information about Sam's origins is revealed, and there are altercations aplenty as the boys, Bobby, Ruby, Castiel and Zachiariah all clash in various ways over their plans.

Running out of time to stop Lillith, a shock twist complicates matters as two main characters show their true colours and the brothers are forced to prepare for the battle of the century on two seemingly opposite sides.
