Taylor Swift to guest on 'Vampire Diaries'?

Kevin Williamson has reportedly approached Taylor Swift about making an appearance on The Vampire Diaries.

The 44-year-old writer wants the popstar to play a vampire on his CW series, reports E!.

"I'm desperate to have [Swift] come play a vampire," he said.

He added: "Wouldn't she make an amazing Kirsten Dunst circa Interview with the Vampire-type? Oh my God, I cannot tell you how hard I'm trying to get her - I would kill to have her on the show!"

However, Williamson fears that the 19-year-old singer is "too big for Vampire Diaries now".

The Vampire Diaries airs Thursday nights on The CW.
