'Dollhouse' webisodes to run through series

Joss Whedon is planning to supplement his upcoming Dollhouse series with several webisodes.

The writer and producer wants to tell separate storylines in the three-minute clips, which will be put on the internet as the show goes out on Fox.

"We're planning to do one for every episode produced," Whedon said this week. "Whether we pull that off remains to be seen."

Stories for the main series and webisodes are being reviewed alongside a shake-up of the Dollhouse opening episode, he added.

"We have a lot of ideas about specific arcs. We want to do stories around Dollhouse that we can’t get in to the main narrative."
