Report: 'Dollhouse' renewed for second season
Published Saturday, May 16 2009, 06:52 BST | By Neil Wilkes

The cult series - created by Buffy's Joss Whedon - debuted on Fox in February but suffered from low ratings in its Friday night slot.
The show was expected to be axed at the network's upfronts presentation next week; however, its strong DVR performance and promising DVD prospects are thought to have contributed to a turnaround.
The second season of thirteen episodes will air on Fox in the Fall. Dollhouse is likely to remain in its Friday night slot.
