'Dollhouse' climbs to 2.3 million

The Eliza Dushku-fronted sci-fi series improved on last week's disastrous performance, but still failed to draw a decent audience in the 9pm hour.
Medium led the slot, logging 8.3m for CBS. Its nearest rival, Dateline NBC, managed 7.05m. Elsewhere, an encore of America's Next Top Model put in 1.16m for The CW, and reruns of Modern Family and The Middle grabbed 2.95m and 2.76m respectively for ABC.
The 8pm hour was won by CBS's Ghost Whisperer, which had 8.6m. NBC's Law & Order was its closest competitor, drawing 7.23m.
Reruns of Brothers and 'Til Death managed 2.35m and 2.36m for Fox, 2.3m tuned in for Smallville on The CW, and a reairing of Thursday night's FlashForward attracted 3.11m to ABC.
At 10pm, Numb3rs logged 7.13m for CBS, 6.07m watched 20/20 on ABC, and The Jay Leno Show took 5.33m for NBC.
